The ICOAM 2026 will be held at the Alte Universität (Old University) in the heart of Graz. This historic building, dating back to the 16th century, blends classical architecture with modern facilities, offering an inspiring setting for scientific exchange and discussion.

How to Get There
To get to Graz, you can travel by plane, train, bus or car. Graz Airport (GRZ) offers direct flights from several European cities, and the main train station, Graz Hauptbahnhof, is a major hub with connections to many European destinations. Alternatively, you can reach Graz by bus or car, with the A9 and A2 motorways providing access.
By Plane:
- Graz Airport (GRZ) is located south of the city and is well-connected to major European cities via direct flights. Several airlines offer flights to Graz, including Lufthansa, and routes are regularly added. The airport is within the city's tariff zone, making it easy to use public transport to reach the city center.
- Vienna Airport (VIE) offers more flights than Graz Airport. There are direct bus and train connection from Vienna airport to the city center of Graz (~2h).
By Train:
- Graz Hauptbahnhof (main train station) is a major hub with connections to various European cities.
- Direct train connections are available from Vienna, Vienna Airport, Salzburg, Linz, Klagenfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, and Frankfurt.
- ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) is the main provider of train services in Austria and offers tickets and information.
By Bus:
- Flixbus offers bus services to Graz from various European cities.
- You can find direct bus connections from Vienna, Salzburg, Linz, Klagenfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, and Frankfurt.
- Tickets can be purchased online or at the bus station.
By Car:
- The A9 and A2 motorways provide convenient access to Graz.
- The A9 runs north-south, while the A2 connects Graz to Vienna and Klagenfurt.
- Graz Airport is also easily accessible via the A2 and A9 motorways.
